Timmy the Turtle

I had a little turtle

His name was Tiny Tim

I put him in the bathtub

To see if he could swim

He drank up all the water

He ate up all the soap

He woke up in the morning

With a bubble in his throat

I took him to the doctor

I took him to the nurse

I took him to the lady

With the alligator purse

They checked my turtle's tummy

And then they checked his throat

They asked him how he managed

To swallow a bar of soap

I started to get nervous

I got a little scared

Because you see those bubbles

Started floating everywhere

They floated to the ceiling

They floated to the floor

And then those silly bubbles floated

Right outside the door

The doctor looked at Timmy

And this is what he said,

"You naughty little turtle,

You go straight home to bed!"

I took my turtle home

When the doctor was all through

I did not feed him soap

I fed him chicken soup
