Dave's on the road again like every other day

playing his music on the way

He plays it to make him feel alive as he would say

He’s going to beat this thing OK

Life’s been good so far he can say he’s blessed

He’s had some bonus years and that’s success

So what tomorrow will bring, it will bring, who can say

And so he lives for today, in every way, and that’s the way he’ll stay

He walks in the hospital like every other day

Says hi to the nurses on the way

He waits for the news to see if everything’s ok

He feels in his bones it is today

The tests are good they say he’s clear for now

A lease of life he’ll celebrate and how

So what tomorrow will bring, it will bring, who can say

And so he lives for today, in every way, and that’s the way he’ll stay

He’ll stay strong, if he may, and that’s the way, he’ll be ok

He’ll fight for life, with all his might, and with all his might

He’ll seize the day
