When I was young I'd spent some time

Inside the radio that I would play

I'd hide beside the circuit boards

And power chords, avoiding chores all day

Peeked outside the tiny holes

From where the music came

I was amazed

A sonic boom projected me

I caught wave, that's how my life was saved

Day begins electric as I boost the gain and lengthen the decay

I smile at my good fortune as I bring in some distortion, but I'm afraid

More that I'm revealing feels like more that I'm just hiding stuff away
