Well she's a jewel in a cobweb

He thought that he could hider her

And once you get to know him

He's quite an ugly spider

So everybody wonders why

This pretty little gem just doesn't leave

She's a jewel in a cobweb

And man does he know how to weave

The first time I laid eyes on her

She thoroughly charmed me

But he had two legs around her

And that completely disarmed me

My friends knew I didn't like him

They said just be smart

And try to act nice
