You can tell me that I’m young

And make comparisons for fun

You can cry behind a wall

Sleep wherever you may fall

Your back has gone from bad to worse

But you reject any support

How can I put my love to words

If you won’t show me where it hurts

If it’s a long story

Every task is win or lose

Cutting carrots, buying shoes

You criticize how I relax

Implying that you do it the best

I’m trying hard not to push you away

Even if you’d prefer it that way

How can I give my love for free

With all this tension in my teeth?
