You’ve heard the story of Ringo Flamingo
Here’s a balancing exercise
Try to balance on one leg just like Ringo
It might help to hold your arms out sideways and stare at a point in front of you
Change to the other leg at the sound of the bell. When you’re better at balancing, try dropping your arms to your sides, or even balancing with one leg curled around the other
Are you ready? Let’s begin
Ringo Flamingo by golly by jingo
You’ve changed since you were an egg
Ringo Flamingo oh suddenly bingo!
You’re balancing on one leg
You thought you never would do what the others could
Now see how you’ve grown
Because it’s the right time from morning till night-time
You’re balancing on your own
Ringo Ringo
You’re balancing oh
Ringo Flamingo
You’re balancing on your own
Ringo Flamingo this song that I sing-o
About your amazing feat
Shows that we can do whatever we plan to
Makes every task a treat
Your balancing trick we have learnt very quickly
We’re standing on one leg like you
But there is one thing-o we have not a wing-o
Just two arms to do what we do
Ringo Ringo
You’re balancing oh
Ringo Flamingo
You’re balancing on your own
Ringo Ringo
You’re balancing oh
Ringo Flamingo
You’re balancing on your own
