Paroles

One of the facets of our career which Which doesn't happen very often today is that Our career started as well, on records, on the stage Because, we had to go out and, and as they say, sell the act And we would play to err, audience of maybe a thousand people Two thousand people, three thousand people And then we started adding all these ideas, and what we could see And we saw the people started really relatin' to that And we tried to bring a concept of theater to rock and roll, as they call it Or to music (yeah) We were tryin' to differ ourselves In a sense of, like, not being a drill team Most of the act that we saw reminded us of drill teams And during, umm, the '70s Metal thing, we were tryin' to free people In the sense of expressin' individuality, you know And this was another reason for, like, us not dressing like nobody else Uh, the group comin' 'cross, there's something different, totally But, in the beginnin', I remember A lot of people used to sit, no answerin' Just looked a lot of tensed We've been to shows, and we've been to a couple of hand claps And that'll be it And, the drill team act would come all right behind us And, take the house, you know, so It was just like, "Oh wow, we don't know what we had" You know But, we just kept on
