Letras

I had a place once, by the river.
Somewhere I would go to look upon myself.
I saw you in my reflection,
And the water passed just as the moment did.

Sometimes we just need to hide out,
Somewhere we can go to find out who we are.
Take a look with some intention
At the faults that mask our own perspective.

So I made my way back home.
Took the long way just to pick up the pieces,
And put them all back where they go.
I know if I ever need you, I can see you there.

Reflection.
(I can see you in my…)
Reflection,
(Just from a different time)
Reflection.

(I can see you in mine).
Sometimes we just need to hold out,
Give our selves a little slack out on the line,
And a moment of composure;

Same people just from a different time.

So I made my way back home.
I took the long way just to pick up the pieces,
And put them all back where they go.
I know if I ever need you, I can see you there.

Reflection,
(I can see you in my…)
Reflection,
(Just from a different time).
Reflection,
(I can see you in mine).
When I look into the water you are what I see.
