See them making fires
see the tidewaves reveal the sand
and hear their infant choirs
singing their hymns no man understands
And we're just a part of the silent admireres
leaving our homes far from here
but if we rush to step light
their present frail campaign will disappear
With light terrain
We blink and the dust settles lightly
wires fall and sails raise on their command
a salute to pure trust waved out kindly
upraised through a craft all done by hand
And it's the main part of a quiet denial
to all reason man chose to name
But if we listen closely
we'll hear the engines hum and lift their plane
From light terrain
It's hurting everytime they're
near it's hurting everytime
they're near it's hurting
everytime they're near your mind
But poetry rely on fear
and all your lust need transmit air
and every lesson bound to a tear
(will) grow kind
See the remains of their fires
see the tidewaves come seal the shore
Anxious, so close to be frightened
leaving our hides to provoke encore
And if you're like me
you've been struck by devotion
and all logic learned will be denied
and every night to come will bring
a hope to catch an illuminated sky
By light terrain
