Keeper of the Void

In the sky the moon is covered by the clouds

Stormy night, a fearful sight, I think it's best to turn around

You're not prepared for this fight

The woods thicken from the fog you wonder lost within' the dark

Don't know how you ended up here and you don't know where you are

Walking like what feels for days, you're close to giving in to fate

But then you stumble across the house

And now you're feeling like you're safe

Running quickly as you step up to the threshold

Loudly knock upon the door but in return you just hear echos

Turn the knob and walk right in you take a chance upon a whim

Your gut it tells you this a win, but something deeper lies within'

Softly hear a voice, it hymn mind is rushing for the source

Quietly creep through the house just in case you're not alone

A ghastly stench it fills the air smells like centuries of rot

Coming from beneath the stairs, do you dare to search the spot

Cautiously approach the basement as your eyes try to adjust

You think you see the glow of lights but you're not sure that you can trust

Hear the calls in your mind telling you to come below

Follow lead, come and see, and you will learn what is unknown

Journey down into the scene and what you see is lots of death

Corpse's scattered all around, blood and guts ripped from their chest

Out the corner of your eye you see a silhouette appear

He tells you, "Come closer, my son, and I will tell you why you're here"

Look into the black holes in his head

Start to fall into a trance and take ahold of his hand

See the lines of this portal start to form upon the stone

With the keeper, join his flesh, and you will never be alone

Cross the path of dimensions, let the energy take hold

Don't fear what is on the other side, the void is now your home
