Die Musikerin Grace Kelly sollte nicht mit der berühmten Schauspielerin desselben Namens verwechselt werden. Die Saxophonistin wurde 1992 in Massachusetts geboren, und beschäftigte sich schon von klein auf mit der Musik. In ihrem Spiel sind Einflüsse von Charlie Parker, Wayne Shorter und Stan Getz zu hören; mitunter singt Kelly auch, und neben Jazzstandards komponiert sie auch selbst und nimmt Rock- oder R&B-Songs auf. Das Wunderkind nahm schon mit 12 sein erstes Album Dreaming (2004) auf, auf Folgeplatten wie Every Road I Walked (2006) und GRACEfulLEE (2008) spielte sie schon mit Terri Lyne Carrington und Lee Konitz. Als Erwachsene veröffentlichte sie Alben wie Grace (2011), Trying to Figure It Out (2016) oder All That I Need (2022) und spielte u.a. mit Jon Batiste, Mocean Worker oder Julian Waterfall Pollack.
