Aloe Blacc ist ein Sänger und MC, der auch Trompete, Gitarre und Piano spielen kann. Er wurde zunächst als Mitglied der Hip-Hop-Gruppe Emanon bekannt, deren Debütalbum The Waiting Room 2005 auf Shaman Works erschien.
