Als Frontmann der Band Kiss gehört Paul Stanley zu den populärsten Stadiorock-Sängern. Der 1952 als Stanley Eisen in New York geborene Musiker gründete die Band 1973 zusammen mit Gene Simmons und schrieb Rock-Klassiker wie "Detroit Rock City", "Firehouse", "Love Gun", "I Was Made for Lovin' You" und "God of Thunder" für die Gruppe. 1978 veröffentlichte Stanley sein erstes Soloalbum, als alle vier Kiss-Musiker gleichzeitig Soloplatten herausbrachten - Stanleys Platte klang am meisten nach der Hauptband und zeigte damit seinen Einfluss auf den Kiss-Sound. Erst 2006 folgte eine zweite Soloplatte, Live to Win. 2015 gründete er sein Seitenprojekt Paul Stanley's Soul Station, in dem er alte Soulklassiker neu interpretiert. Nach Ankündigung der Kiss-Abschiedstournee veröffentlichte Stanley 2021 das erste Soul-Station-Album Now and Then.
