Unter dem Namen "G Flip" macht die australische Musikerin Georgia Flipo hymnischen Synth- und Indie-Pop. Sie lernte bereits mit neun Jahren das Schlagzeugspiegel, später kamen Piano und Gitarre dazu. Sie studierte Schlagzeug am Box Hill Institute in Melbourne und wurde die Drummerin der Band Empra, mit der sie auch durch Amerika tourte. Nachdem sich die Gruppe 2016 aufgelöst hatte, schrieb Flipo eigene Songs. Sie kam Anfang 2018 beim Future-Classic-Label unter Vertrag und veröffentlichte ihre Debütsingle "About You", mit der sie schon einige Aufmerksamkeit erhielt. Weitere Singles wie "Killing My Time" und "Drink Too Much" folgten, im Juli 2019 gewann sie den AIR-Award als "Breakthrough Independent Artist of the Year". Im August des Jahres erschien ihr Debütalbum About Us, das auf Platz 6 der australischen Charts kam.
